The Griffin Academy of Westminster School prides itself on creating an exceptionally loving and safe environment where children ages 3 and 4 thrive. At The Griffin Academy, children are introduced to a school setting through an equal balance of play and structure. Our dynamic, creative, and well-qualified teaching staff delights in sharing the joys of learning, watching friendships blossom, and nurturing the emotional, social, intellectual, and physical growth in each child. It is a privilege to be present during this magical time and to provide important stepping stones for your child's school career.
The Griffin Academy can accommodate one class of three-year-olds and two classes of four-year-olds. The classes vary from a maximum of 12-14 daycare students (students that stay for rest/nap time). The student-teacher ratio will never exceed 10:1 per class. Classes are taught by experienced, qualified educators who bring exceptional creativity and energy to the program. The children enjoy a sense of security from the routine and structure of each day, while delighting in plenty of outdoor play (at least 30-45 minutes per day; more with extended hours), developmentally appropriate learning activities, and many fun-filled, special events and field trips throughout the year.
The versatile program is a boon to busy parents, with full-time and part-time options, morning and after-care (extended day), and age-based rolling admissions.
