A state-licensed, on-site, after-school care program (ASCP) is offered to families with children in grades Pre-K-8. The program operates under the direction of a Westminster School administrator and is staffed by Westminster School teachers and other trained supervisors.

There are two components of ASCP:  1) a full-time program, which takes place Monday-Friday on every full day of school; and 2) a drop-in program (on a daily, as-needed basis). For both full-time and drop-in after-school care, the hours of program operation are 3:15-6:00 p.m.  There is no after-school care on half-days, holidays, or when school is canceled or dismissed early due to inclement weather.

ASCP Mission: To provide a safe, enjoyable program of on-site, after-school care which will be a fun, wholesome break from the school-day routine while also supporting the structure of the Westminster program.

ASCP Schedule: The schedule for after-school care varies by grade.  However, all students enjoy a snack, outdoor play, homework support, games, arts & crafts, and other collaborative activities.  Many students are able to complete their written homework in after-care, which is much appreciated by their parents.

In addition to the general After School Care Program, Westminster School also offers specialized after-school enrichment opportunities for students in Grades K - 4. These offerings include private music lessons, group and individual sports, and other specialty classes. Click below to learn more!
